Jeremy Cooper is an actor, singer living inside the perimeter of Atlanta. He graduated from The University of Mississippi with a B.A in Theatre Arts, and a side minor of English. Originally from Jackson, MS, He recently made the move to Atlanta to pursue an illustrious career on the stage and screen. He has a history performing in comedic roles by authors ranging from Christopher Durang to David Lindsay-Abaire to Shakespeare. He also has a Tenor/Baritone voice which allowed him to play iconic characters in productions like Spring Awakening, Grease, Joseph...Dreamcoat, and All Shook Up. He was last seen as The Balladeer/Oswald in Sondheim's Assassins at Out of Box Theatre. Look for him to appear next as Jamie Lockheart in The Robber Bridegroom in August at Act 3 Productions.
"These past two years a lot of great, big, amazing changes have happened in my life. I got married, moved to Atlanta, and began a professional career all within the span of about six months! Talk about warping through life. The changes have been incredibly exciting. Since moving to Atlanta, I have had the pleasure of meeting a ton of inspiring artist. I got to explore and expand my comedic roots with Gypsy Theatre Company's production of Knock 'Em Dead. I have had the pleasure of telling gripping stories with music around town like Dogfight, Urinetown, Violet the Musical and Assassins. My music aspirations are sailing each chance I get to connect to these characters. I look forward to continuing my story while in Atlanta and can not wait to see how this chapter unfolds..."
